[01:11:00] But old shep was right there
[01:15:00] To the rescue he came
[01:21:00] He jumped in and then pulled me out
[01:31:00] As the years fast did roll
[01:36:00] Old shep he grew old
[01:41:00] His eyes were fast growing dim
[01:51:00] And one day the doctor looked at me and said
[02:01:00] I can do no more for him jim
[02:11:00] With hands that were trembling
[02:16:00] I picked up my gun
[02:21:00] And aimed it at sheps faithful head
[02:31:00] I just couldnt do it
[02:35:00] I wanted to run
[02:40:00] I wish they would shoot me instead
[02:50:00] He came to my side
[02:55:00] And looked up at me
[03:00:00] And laid his old head on my knee
[03:09:00] I had struck the best friend that a man ever had
[03:19:00] I cried so I scarcely could see
[03:27:00] Old shep he has gone
[03:32:00] Where the good doggies go
[03:37:00] And no more with old shep will I roam
[03:46:00] But if dogs have a heaven
[03:51:00] Theres one thing I know
[03:56:00] Old shep has a wonderful home
